“An abstract expression of the now and the future
through art that I let flow out of me, without planning,
just the execution.”
Beginning at a tender age of 12 doodling in classes, an aspiring artist developed without realisation. Over the course of more than a decade, Cassandra continued doodling on paper and eventually on her willing friends, armed with nothing more than her trusted Sharpies. She eventually found herself enrolling in a foundation of arts course and her passion only grew stronger. Although undoubtedly being the worst student in the class, she persevered, determined not to give up.
As she matured, so did her art. Inspired by life proceedings and emotional canters, she countered it by throwing herself deeper into art. Empowering herself by using it as an outflow and therefore painting what she feels. Art to Cassandra has always been a form of expressing what words have failed to do. She eventually found her voice and style.
Her experience includes body drawings, murals on walls, face painting and sculptures. Till today, her art remains 'unplanned' and 'impromptu'. As emotions run deep, through the tips of her fingers into the mediums be it a canvas, walls or even shoes. Her creativity has no boundaries as she constantly tries to express her outlook and sentiments through them, always looking for the next inspiration that awaits.
